Singapore

I came back from Singapore a few days ago. Nothing much to see in Singapore, because I was only there for 3 days. Went down from Johor, 1 hour plus by car to Singapore. Anyway, in Singapore, was home to the biggest book shop I have seen in my life, so far. 3 stories high, and bigger than Batu Lintang, I think. Anyway, its big okay?

You can get lost inside. You can find all kinds of books from story books, fiction, young adults, and even books on interior design. So many kinds of books, they even have ....


Terrorism Studies. To learn how to be a terrorist, buy a book from the Terrorism Studies section.


And in Singapore also, I saw 2 Ferarri. A few Porches, and many BMW and Mecerdes, all not available in Malaysia, yet.




But the coolest thing was, in the hotel room, there is a window from the bathroom to the bedroom. How cool is that?

World's Tallast Tower

And that was part of our Choral Speaking script last year. Today, marks the 52nd year Malaysia is independent from the British. In those 52 years, Malaysia have achieved alot. One of them was claiming the title of "The World's tallest Tower", which is the Petronas Twin Tower. After the 6 year project, Malaysia has defeated the a tower which I don't know the name in USA.

And no, I did not refer to anything. Just of memory after I watch the Petronas Twin Tower documentary in Nat Geo.

Anyway, 31st August 2009, Malaysia has did it again. They fought to claim back the Tallest Tower in the world. But it's not just any ordinary tower, it's a tower so beautiful, so unique, so elegant, so heart-warming and only done in 10 minutes. Behold, the Petronas Single Tower made from Lego!!

*drum roll*


Everything is made from Lego. No glue no whatever.



It currently stands as high as me. 178cm tall and weights less than a kilo. Wind speed of 1km/h will blow the whole structure down, that's why, we advice the public to stay a 179cm radius from the building. If it fell, you will be 1cm from it and won't be flying your way to heaven.




Imagine what Lego can earn you today. Wow. I'm so proud to be Malaysian. Malaysia Boleh!

A few seconds after I clicked the post button, the structure collapesed. It was caused by strong winds and rain. This is an unfortunate event, and we will miss the tower dearly.

Playing Piano dedicated to Steph

Stephieee.. I know got delay in playing you a song on my piano since my Viva La Vida post a few months ago, and I promised to play a song for you.(Well, actually you asked me to, but I just can't say no). Even though I cannot play Viva La Vida, I play something I am familiar lah. You sing it everyday(I think). And I don't have a "lagu tetap", because I lazy to practise. Once I'm done with this piece, I don't practise it anymore. So you better appreciate it because I play this song everyday on my piano, until i can close my eye and play. And yes, I tried it before.

Anyway, this song is Spirit Touch Your Church. A church song. Don't know who compose, who created, who sing. All I know is, Eric plays it and church choir sings it. Haha. Enjoy. Here are the lyrics.

So today, being the "Man Of The House", it is our duty to cook for the ladies in the house. Wahh shiok leh.. Feel so big. Haha. Anyway. I cooked lunch and dinner. Lunch, a little less tiring. But dinner?? WHOA. Sweat like hell and breathing heavily after that huge workout. I think cooking can really make you lose weight. Haha.

So the first picture here is lunch. Vegetable dishes not included because they are vegetables. Who cares about them??


This is. Buttered fish fillet with nugget and baked potatoes. I'm actually not a fan of fish, because you(I) cannot add flavour to them and sometimes it comes out smelly. So, I don't like to cook fish. And those nuggets may looked deep fried, but I baked it with little oil and a whole load of time making sure it doesn't burn.

But lets go to dinner. Where the excitement is.


If you wonder why those meatball are huge, its because I TRIED to stuff them with those jagung denedy likes so much. I stuffed it, but you cannot taste any jagung inside. Only little pieces. Anyway, I cooked the corn with chicken broth. To make it moist and add in some flavour. While the meatball, marinate with wine only, and deep fried. It is crispy on the outside, but moist and soft on the inside, which is good.

At one point, I was afraid the meatballs couldn't cook thoroughly. But on second thought, I deep friend them for such a long time, of course they're going to be cooked rite? So I took a risk, and assume it's cooked. And to my shock, it really was. Thank God. Phew.

Funny Incident

While going back home with my uncle, we stopped by the bakery. Taka to be exact. So, like any ordinary customer, we took a tray, and those 'tong' or what i like to call it, 'kiap kiap'.

Anyway, we went to pick the buns we want to eat. So my uncle picked his and went to the counter to wait for us.

My cousin, who was holding the tray, was playing with it and somehow, the bun slipped out and dropped on the floor. I quickly look around, and kicked it under a clothe table counter.

Later i scan around looking for cctv. I found one. If i'm not mistaken, it might be pointing straight at us. Oh my. What if i turn up on the newspaper tomorrow??

I dont feel like blogging this month. Dont know where my mood is. Maybe lack of ideas is the problem. Oh well, you wont see me update too often.

My piano exam result was out. I didn't flunk it. I got a pass. ONLY, because I stumbled alot. I got 66. Passing mark was 60. So that's okay la.. Anyway, my teacher said we can choose our own song to play and learn after exam.

Last saturday, went to friends house again, the place where i cook those nuggets etc? You know. Haha. I love going there. Enjoy cooking. Haha. Well..i know everytime i cook, it turns out garbage. So, not gonna post mine. Only post what we made toghether.


Presenting. Prawn Pohpiah??? Haha. It's actually prawn, wraped it Pohpiah skin, then deep fried. Very easy to make. Just un-shell the prawns, mix with curry powder and garlic, and wrap it in pohpiah skin and then deef fry it. Easy as ABC.



Mmmm..so yummy. And dip it in either mayonize or chilly sauce. Your choice. Have fun trying if you want.

It just came into my mind. I want to clean my piano! Usually I'm too lazy to do that. But it's been almost a year since I open my piano's clothing. It has also been almost a year since I bathe(polish) it.


Those hammers are very soft one. So be careful not to disturb it. And I sometimes wonder how the sound is made.


It's just metal wires gulung-ed. How did it make sound ho?? Well...maybe i ask my teacher some other time. And I still wonder who invented the piano. Hmm..He/She must be one smart guy.

Later I polished the piano. 11 months already. My teacher said it should be polished twice a year.
